Introduction:

The clinical research unit at Rafik Hariri University Hospital was established in the year 2008. The unit is dedicated to improving the human condition through the conduct of national and international clinical research trials as well as investigators initiated studies. Our aim is to work in partnership with researchers to deliver the highest quality of clinical trials and clinical research. The interdisciplinary team provides excellent patient care and administrative services to promote patient, investigator and sponsor satisfaction.

The unit is operating with a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated research team and under the supervision of the director of the clinical research unit. All studies are carried out according to Good Clinical Practice and Rafik Hariri University Hospital Clinical Research Unit standard operating procedures. The Rafik Hariri University Hospital Institutional Review Board is an administrative body established in order to protect the rights and welfare of study patients.
